Drop dead gorgeous vintage 80s nightgown & peignoir set, and NEW, never worn with tag! All black, the nightgown is silky nylon, the most AMAZING peignoir all sheer chiffon. The peignoir frilly and fussy, the nightgown downright sexy and sheer! a great combination!
The nightgown has rolled nylon straps with a bodice created of the most delicate black lace. The entire bodice is lined with sheer black chiffon. A row of lace with black satin ribbon interwoven accents the vee neckline,and a pink satin ribbon rose bud is at the center of the vee. The empire waist is elasticized to give you a perfect, flattering fit.
The lace bodice ends at the empire waist and meets the silky semi sheer nylon of the body of the gown. Waltz length at 50" ~ ankle length on a shorter person (mannequin is over 6ft tall) The hemline of the gown is edged with more black lace.
The peignoir is fabulous.. totally frilly and feminine! a single layer of shiny, sheer ultra soft black nylon chiffon. It has a ruffle of black lace around the round neckline, and down both sides of the front opening ~ all the way to the hem ~ AND all along the hemline! Rarely is there this much lace on a peignoir! The robe ties closed at the neckline with a long shiny black satin ribbon. Two pink satin ribbon roses identical to the gown are at the sides of the ribbon as it ties closes.
But.. the sleeves ~ Huge PUFFS of chiffon! Raglan style, the sleeves are short little DOUBLE chiffon puffs, with a wide black lace ruffle on the cuff.... But.. at the center of each sleeve from the neckline is a vee of black lace. A black satin ribbon is interwoven through the center of the lace, with a bow at the bottom of the vee.. another pink satin rosebud is in the middle of the satin bow.
You just don't get more feminine than this.. as well as totally sexy!
